Garbanzo Bean (Chickpea), Saffron Rice (Jasmine Rice, Paprika, Turmeric, Saffron), Onion, Parsley, Garlic, Paprika, Thyme, Bay Leaf.

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 lb. hot Italian sausage, Mexican chorizo or andouille
  • 4 cups chicken broth (32 oz.)
  • 1 can (14.50 oz.) diced tomatoes (for extra heat, use 10 oz. can tomatoes with green chilies)
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken breast, cup up (6-8 oz.)

  1. In a 4-quart pot, heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Remove sausage from casing or purchase fresh bulk sausage not in casing.
  3. Sauté sausage, breaking up clumps, until thoroughly browned.
  4. Stir in stew mix. Add broth, tomatoes and chicken.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or cornbread.

    We’ve been enjoying Anderson House soups this month! Super easy to shop and plan for and we’ve been making 1-2 a week and then having leftovers the next day. I can see why this is "Jonny's Favorite" - Thank you!
