Simply add chicken or vegetable broth, tomato purée, a hint of brown sugar, and cream for a bowl that tastes like it simmered all afternoon (but only takes about 35 minutes to prepare).

  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth (48 oz.)
  • 1 can (29 oz.) tomato puree
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy or light cream (8 oz.)

  1. In a 3 or 4-quart non-aluminum pot*, bring broth to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and stir in soup mix. Return to a simmer, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato puree and brown sugar.
  4. Return to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and slowly stir in the cream.
  6. Continue cooking, uncovered on low for 5 minutes and serve.

*Aluminum reacts with the acid in tomatoes and may cause a metallic taste.

    Hello, I bought this soup a couple of months ago. I love anything TOMATO.......add Basil and its even better. Love TOMATO bisque soup, caprese salads, so you can see my interest in your soup! Today was a cold, cloudy day. Perfect for soups. Finally came around and made it. Of course as a foodie that I am, I added a few more items such as Olive Oil, fresh basil and a bit of Cheyenne pepper. The soup is indescribably delicious! I thank you from the bottom of my belly for putting together such a delicious and Healthy soup/meal. Almost forgot I topped it of with Parmesan cheese and croutons. Besides the cloudy, gloomy day the soup brought all the sunshine and endorphins any soup lover can ever expect. A fan of your products forever. Can't thank you enough.

    Bought it from a little shop in town just to try and my family and I were AMAZED at its hearty flavor!!!!!! So, I did what any smart woman would do, I ordered 6 more soups for me and for my friends to share. L O V E D I T !!!
