Inspired by the beloved folktale passed down for generations, Anderson House Frontier Soups today announced the release of its most foundational soup mix yet: the April Fool’s Limited Edition Stone Soup Mix.

For centuries, the story of Stone Soup has reminded us that the best meals are made when everyone contributes a little something. A traveler arrives with nothing but a stone and a pot of water, and through curiosity, generosity, and a few well-timed suggestions, an entire village comes together to create a hearty meal.

With our new mix, we’ve taken that idea to heart.

Each bag includes everything you need to start a pot of soup the traditional way: a carefully selected assortment of premium river stones and rustic pebbles, thoughtfully gathered and blended for optimal simmering potential. With plenty of stones in every bag, there are enough to start several pots of soup, keep one simmering all afternoon, or share with those ever-so-friendly neighbors who happen to wander by.
